Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the rose 0.09%.
The best performers of the session on the were Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE:), which rose 4.00% or 870.00 points to trade at 22,630.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Leumi (TASE:) added 2.52% or 69.00 points to end at 2,810.00 and Delek Group (TASE:) was up 2.44% or 1,080.00 points to 45,400.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:), which fell 3.29% or 192.00 points to trade at 5,648.00 at the close. Big Shopping Centers Ltd (TASE:) declined 1.98% or 700.00 points to end at 34,700.00 and ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:) was down 1.89% or 40.00 points to 2,072.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 261 to 199 and 45 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 1.92% or 1.38 to $70.55 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.14% or 0.87 to hit $75.22 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 1.17% or 23.15 to trade at $1,948.05 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was unchanged 0.10% to 3.61, while EUR/ILS fell 0.22% to 3.93.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.37% at 102.21.
