Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the gained 0.34%.
The best performers of the session on the were Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:), which rose 1.49% or 16.00 points to trade at 1,086.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:) added 1.43% or 7.60 points to end at 538.60 and Orsted A/S (CSE:) was up 1.33% or 8.80 points to 669.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CSE:), which fell 2.04% or 11.80 points to trade at 565.60 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CSE:) declined 1.90% or 16.40 points to end at 848.20 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:) was down 1.34% or 160.00 points to 11,810.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 68 to 63 and 28 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 2.22% or 1.60 to $70.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.38% or 1.05 to hit $75.04 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 1.27% or 25.05 to trade at $1,946.15 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.15% to 6.83, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.45.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.38% at 102.23.
