Biden winning re-election would be ‘very, very’ surprising, says nonpartisan forecaster Charlie Cook

Political analyst Charlie Cook on Wednesday said he doesn’t expect President Joe Biden to win re-election in November, offering his forecast at a National Association for Business Economics conference in Washington, D.C.

“I would be very, very surprised if President Biden won 270 electoral votes,” said Cook, founder and contributor at the nonpartisan Cook Political Report, referring to the number of such votes needed to triumph in the White House race.
